Every piece you wear supports the vital work Batyr is doing to reduce the stigma around mental health. At Batyr, they believe in the power of lived experience. Over the past 12 years, they’ve specialised in training young people aged 18-30 to turn their personal mental health journeys into powerful tools for advocacy. Through their Being Herd program, young people learn to share their stories safely and effectively, breaking down barriers and creating a ripple effect of openness and understanding.

Studies have found that the most effective way to reduce stigma is through peer-to-peer storytelling. Batyr’s programs have embraced this philosophy, training hundreds of young people to share their experiences with mental health. The impact? A reduction in self-stigma, increased confidence, greater social connectedness, and the ability to have positive conversations about mental health in their communities.
