Empowering Communities: Fractel Partners with What's Life Project in Nepal

We’re excited to officially announce our partnership with What's Life Project! We’ll let Fractel Ambassador and President of the foundation, Adrien Colussi tell you more about the project:

“What's Life Project. A non-profit family association based in the Swiss Alps at Crans-Montana. Founded in September 2022 with my parents, its aim is to provide access to sport and education in developing countries. The association is currently involved in humanitarian actions in Nepal. WLP supports the Shree Mahadevshwori basic school by providing school supplies, organising sports activities and training teachers.

We are mainly involved in trail running, and count on the unfailing support of Sidas, a foot care specialist with a long-term commitment to the organisation. As well as TSL Outdoor, Fractel and Compressport Switzerland.

We are fortunate to count Swiss ultra-trailer Diego Pazos, trainer Sébastien Cornette, paraglider François Montuori, Camille Ferré, Kevin Didier, Matthis Granet and Canadian ultra-trailers Marianne Hogan and Geneviève Anslin Demer as ambassadors of the association.”

Today, their association is developing 5 projects in the Dolakha region of Nepal:
  1. Child sponsorship: to enable the purchase of school supplies and uniforms. This takes the form of a scholarship, with the children signing a contract to work at the school and attend classes.
  2. Trail Event: Bringing together Western runners and Nepalese to promote cultural exchange during trail events.
  3. Alliance Educative: We work with École De Trail, founded by Sébastien Cornette, to create sport-specific training courses for teachers.
  4. Horizon 2025: Construction of a soccer pitch in the village of Babare to create a meeting place for children and villagers.
  5. Construction of a trail training centre (long term):
  • Develop the local economy
  • Benefit the Thamis community, giving them a sense of purpose and development with a view to empowerment.
  • The possibility for world-class athletes to benefit from a training facility in a foreign country and at altitude with different climatic conditions.
  • Creating a meeting place for local and international sports enthusiasts and athletes.

In 2025, they will travel to Nepal with some of their ambassadors to set up actions in the village and school. Together, with Fractel as the Official Headwear Partner, we are committed to promoting the well-being and development of communities around the world.
