Community / Event Manager and Social Media Specialist

Position: Remote - Full-Time - Community / Event Manager and Social Media Specialist

The Role: In this dynamic position, you'll be the heartbeat of our community engagement efforts. From managing our social media presence to coordinating events and nurturing our ambassador program, you'll play a key role in amplifying our brand's voice and mission.

• Location: Based in or around Sydney or Melbourne, with occasional interstate travel for events (potential for weekends) and retailer engagement.

• Tools Required: A knack for social media, a flair for event planning, and a passion for community engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Social Media Mastery: Craft and execute a unified social media strategy that boosts our brand's visibility and fosters genuine engagement.

• Ambassador Program Growth: Elevate our ambassador program by partnering with key members of the community who embody our brand's ethos.

• Event Excellence: Lead the charge in organising and executing Fractel events that resonate with our community's spirit.

• Retailer Relations: Strengthen our bond with retailers through meaningful visits and feedback sessions.

• Community Connection: Engage with our community both online and offline, turning feedback into actionable insights.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in social media management and event planning, ideally within the apparel or outdoor industry.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of inspiring a diverse audience.

• Creative prowess in content creation, from UGC and blog posts to promotional materials.

• Experience in photography / video and editing for social content purposes

• Willingness to travel, embracing the adventure of nationwide events and activations.

• Organisational wizardry, juggling multiple projects with ease.

• A passion for sustainability, running, and outdoor adventures.

Apparel Designer

Fractel is on the hunt for a visionary Apparel Designer to spearhead the creation of our next-generation technical performance wear. From concept to completion, you'll be instrumental in crafting apparel and accessories that embody our ethos of innovation, sustainability, and performance. This remote role offers the chance to shape the future of performance wear, aligning with Fractel's commitment to the running and outdoor adventure communities.

Position: Full-Time Apparel Designer

The Role: As Fractel's Apparel Designer, you'll lead the charge in developing high-performance technical apparel and accessories from concept to final product. Your creative process will involve everything from initial sketches to material selection, all aimed at delivering products that resonate with our brand's mission and our customers' needs. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with our Custom Design & Creative team, lending your expertise to bespoke projects that enhance our community engagement and product diversity.

Key Details:

• Type: Full-Time
• Location: Remote
• Equipment Required: Personal laptop

Responsibilities:

• Design men's and women's high-performance technical apparel and accessories, building on our current Headwear offering and catering to the specific needs of our active consumers.
• Guide designs from ideation to production, creating detailed tech packs and prototypes within project timelines.
• Sourcing of innovative, sustainable materials and trims.
• Participate in product testing to ensure our offerings meet the highest standards of performance and durability.
• Contribute to seasonal colour and print stories in collaboration with our Creative team.
• Play an active role in the fit review process, maintaining meticulous records and tech pack updates.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in apparel design, with a portfolio that showcases your expertise in creating technical performance wear.
• Proficient in design skills including drawing, prototyping, and visual presentation.
• A keen eye for trends, colour, material, and graphic design, with a deep understanding of garment construction and fabrication.
• Familiarity with the running and endurance sports culture, and the ability to craft authentic product narratives.
• Experience working with athletes and translating their insights into innovative product solutions.
• Passion for pushing the boundaries of performance wear through material and manufacturing innovation.
